10 REASONS THE 7th DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
IS NOT THE CHURCH OF THE BIBLE

1. They have an earthly headquarters in Washington, D.C. (The church of the Bible has no headquarters on earth; only in heaven - Hebrews 12:22-23)

2. They claim that Ellen G. White had the spirit of prophecy, able to reveal God's will (The Bible teaches prophecies have ceased - I Corinthians 13:8-10)

3. Their name, Seventh-Day Adventist, is not in Scripture (The names of Christ's church in the Bible do not include this one)

4. They believe Jesus Christ's return is imminent (The Bible does not say this is so - II Peter 3:4,10)

5. They teach that Saturday, the seventh day of the week, is a holy day (The Bible says that the Sabbath is no longer binding - Colossians 2:14-17)

6. They profess a doctrine of soul-sleeping after death (The Bible teaches consciousness after death - Luke 16:19-31)

7. They believe in a coming kingdom of Christ and the resurrection of the righteous, with the rest raised 1000 years later (The Bible teaches the kingdom is now in existence - Colossians 1:13 and the resurrection of all in the same hour - John 5:28-29)

8. They do not follow the Bible's instructions concerning the first day of the week (Acts 20:7; I Corinthians 16:1-2)

9. They preach that eternal punishment is actually annihilation (The Bible says otherwise - Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:10; 21:8)

10. Their organizational structure is man-made (The Bible's simple plan: local congregations with their elders and deacons - Philippians 1:1)

* Though these are only some of the errors of this religion,
they will suffice to prove the proposition, that the
Seventh-Day Adventist church is
not
the church of the Bible.
