10 REASONS THE BAPTIST CHURCH
IS NOT THE CHURCH OF THE BIBLE

1. Their conventions/associations of churches are man-made (The Bible's simple plan: independent, local congregations with their elders and deacons - Philippians 1:1)

2. They claim a person is saved by faith only (The Bible teaches to the contrary - James 2:24)

3. They use instruments of music in worship (The New Testament teaches singing only - Ephesians 5:19)

4. They claim baptism is an outward sign of an inward grace (The Bible teaches belief must precede baptism and salvation follows baptism - Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38)

5. They teach that sin is inherited (The Bible denies this as possible - Ezekiel 18:20)

6. They celebrate man-made holy days (The New Testament warns against such - Galatians 4:9-11)

7. They do not observe the Lord's Supper each week (The Bible teaches a weekly observance and offering - Acts 20:7; I Cor. 16:1)

8. The name "Baptist" is unscriptural (There is nowhere in this name is used to describe God's people)

9. They teach that a saved individual cannot fall from grace so as to be lost eternally (The Bible says otherwise - Galatians 5:4; Hebrews 10:26-31)

10. Many Baptists believe in a coming kingdom of Christ on earth for a 1000 years (The Bible nowhere teaches this)
